The work

What a FAR inspector does.

FAR inspectors verify the occupancy status and condition of properties on behalf of mortgage servicers, banks, and field service companies. Reports are submitted through industry apps, and most inspections take just five minutes to complete.

Orders drop throughout the month with a four-day minimum turn time, though rural counties have longer windows.

You set your own schedule, and most inspectors run their routes in batches across a few days a week.
